POSITION: Unreal Programmer

SmartVizX is India’s leading Virtual Reality (“VR”) startup company that is developing an exciting VR platform, Trezi (https://trezi.com), for the architecture, engineering & construction industry.
We are looking for a skilled Unreal Programmer with at least 2 years of experience in multiplayer game development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for game development and a strong understanding of Unreal Engine 4. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining multiplayer game systems, as well as debugging and optimizing code.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement multiplayer game systems using Unreal Engine 4.
- Collaborate with designers and artists to integrate gameplay mechanics into the game.
- Debug and optimize code to ensure smooth performance in multiplayer environments.
- Develop and maintain game features, including networking, game logic, and AI.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to multiplayer game development.
- Identify and fix bugs and issues related to multiplayer gameplay.
- Participate in the testing and quality assurance of the game.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in Unreal Engine 4 game development, with a focus on multiplayer games.
- Proficient in C++ programming language.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 and its multiplayer features, such as replication and networking.
- Experience with source control systems, such as Git.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for gaming and game development.
